HOW TO CHOOSE A BLOG NAME

There are three simple rules to follow when choosing a blog name:
1) It must describe your blog:
it is probable that plenty of people will see a link to your weblog before having the chance to actually read it (in search engines, for example). Guess what, if by taking a look at the name they can figure what the weblog is about they are going to be more likely to visit it.

2) It must be easy to remember:
suppose your weblog talks about walking, fitness & health advice in general. Naming it "The Walking, Fitness & General Health Advice Weblog" would offer an exhaustive description of the weblog, but would it even be simple to keep in mind? Stick with simple names.
3) It must be equal to the domain name:
this rule is often ignored by people, probably because finding an appropriate domain that has not been registered yet is a difficult task. Still if your domain name does not match the weblog name you will probably lose some readers along the way. When people visit your weblog through a link they will read the name of the weblog. Ought to they pick to revisit the site a couple of days later they will type that name followed by a dot com. In the event that they do not find your weblog one time they hit enter they will go somewhere else.
